Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Edwan Mayo, DNP, FNP-BC
Dr. Mayo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has been practicing since 2016. She earned her Master of Science, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, from South University, Richmond, in 2016, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from South University in 2019. She previously studied at the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN.
With extensive experience in hospital medicine, cardiology, and primary care, Dr. Mayo launched Forecast Medical Practice in 2020 to serve the community. She is particularly interested in managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, kidney disease, obesity, heart disease, COPD, and many others.
Dr. Mayo participates with most insurance carriers and is currently accepting new patients.
Tonya “Toni” Jackson, MSN, AGNP-C
Tonya “Toni” Jackson, MSN, AGNP-C is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University in 2025 and is currently advancing her expertise through a Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Ms. Jackson specializes in preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education, with a clinical approach grounded in evidence-based practice and compassionate care. She is deeply committed to fostering therapeutic relationships with her patients, empowering them to make sustainable lifestyle changes that promote long-term wellness.
Ms. Jackson is honored to join the Forecast Medical Practice team, where she looks forward to contributing to a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and holistic care.

LaShanda Doster, Practice Manager
Lashanda has been working at Forecast Medical Practice since 2021. She is our Practice Manager. She earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree from ECPI University in 2012 and has been working in health care since 2014. She lives in Prince George with her husband and two beautiful children.
